In plain words

Mother, I am lost in love for the One's feet.

I know no one but the One. The feeling of being split in two has burned away completely.

When the heart loves the One wholly, the old feeling of being split simply burns away.
The deeper layer

maatee charan means intoxicated with the Feet: a joyful, wholehearted absorption. dutee-aa bhaa-o is the love of a second, duality — the divided heart that keeps hedging its bets. To looh, to burn it off, is to let that inner split dissolve so the heart is whole and single. This is haumai, the illusion of separation, thinning out — the wave remembering it was always ocean.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to give your whole heart to one thing, instead of splitting it a dozen ways?
