Those who are satisfied by the Sublime Essence of the Lord, merge intuitively into the Lord; no mouth can describe their state.

By Guru's Grace, O Nanak, they are content; chanting and meditating on God's Name, they are saved. ||4||13||

In plain words

The ones who have tasted the One's sweetness are simply satisfied — settled, at ease, no longer chasing. There are no words big enough to describe how at home they feel.

Nanak says: by the Guru's grace, they are content, and keeping the One in mind, they are carried safely through. The restlessness is over; they have arrived.

The ones who taste the One's sweetness are simply, deeply content.
The deeper layer

Sahaj — natural, effortless ease — and contentment come at the close. Satisfied by the divine essence, the heart no longer hungers for substitutes. This state, again, cannot be described, and it comes by grace — the fruit of the whole shabad's turning toward the Guru and the saints.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to be satisfied instead of always wanting more?
