I know of none other than God; tell me, who else should I approach?

As You know me, so do You keep me, O my Lord and Master.I have surrendered everything to You. ||1||

When I look, I cannot find anyone truer to turn to than the One. So where else would I go?
I place everything in Your hands and trust You to keep me the way You know is best — the way you might finally relax when you know you are in good care.
Trusting the One to keep you as it knows best is its own kind of rest.
Ji-o jaanhu ti-o raakho — keep me as You know how — is one of Gurbani’s great lines of trust. It is not passive giving-up but the deep ease of sahaj: letting the flow of existence carry you because you trust its nature, the way water trusts the riverbed.
A Question to Sit With
When is it a relief to let someone you trust take care of something, instead of managing it all yourself?
