In plain words

Those soaked in love for the One walk through life free — not grabbing, not clinging.

Through the Guru's teaching they come to know the Name, and meeting the One, they find a peace that ends all their restless coming and going.

Loving the One makes you free and full at the same time.
The deeper layer

The free people are the ones soaked in love for the One.

Bairaagee means someone unattached, someone who does not cling. It does not mean cold or distant. Har kai rang ratay — they are dyed in the color of the One's love. Love makes them free, not grabby.

Gurmat naam pachhaanee — through the Guru's teaching, they recognize the Name. It is like spotting a friend's face in a crowded hallway. Once you know it, you see it everywhere.

Aavan jaanee chookee — their coming and going ends. That means the restless cycle of being born and dying again, and all the restless running of the mind. Meeting the One, they settle into peace.

A Question to Sit With

Can you be deeply attached to something and still feel free? How?
