In plain words

Meeting the beautiful, heart-drawing Teacher, my restless mind grew quiet, steadied by the loving Word.

My worries and clever plans and endless wants simply slipped away.

Inside me there is a tender ache — the ache of love — and just beholding the Teacher comforts and steadies me. Come, meet me; every single moment, I would give anything for You.

The ache of love for the One is itself a comfort, and it steadies a restless mind.
The deeper layer

gur sundar mohan — the Guru as sundar, beautiful, and mohan, the Enchanter, the one who draws the heart irresistibly. vaydan praym kee, the pain of love: a sweet ache that is itself a sign of nearness. sudh budh visar ga-ee — even ordinary calculating cleverness is set aside in the presence of that love.
