In plain words

Turning my whole heart to the teaching, my life came together and every true wish was filled.

And inside, a music with no beginning and no end began to play.

When the heart is full, a quiet endless music seems to play under everything.
The deeper layer

When you turn your whole heart toward the Guru, life comes together from the inside.

Gur pooraa aaraaDhay — "I adore the Perfect Guru." The Guru is the teacher who shows the way to the One. When Guru Arjan turns his whole heart that way, he finds sagal manorath pooray — every wish of his heart is filled. These are the true wishes, the ones that matter most.

Then comes baajay anhad tooray: "the unstruck music plays." Anhad means a sound no hand makes. No drum is hit and no string is plucked. Think of the calm, happy hum you feel when a hard day ends well and everything seems in tune. That inner music was always there. A heart turned the right way finally gets to hear it.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever felt so content that the world seemed to hum with quiet happiness?
