In plain words

The One became the help of the one who loves Him. He brought every hope to pass and left nothing missing at all.

The Maker had a pool of sweet water made. Good things came along on their own, without my chasing them, and nothing was lacking. This is what pleases my perfect Teacher.

When your heart is settled, enough has a way of arriving without chasing.
The deeper layer

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line and the center of the shabad: oonee baat na kaa-ee. Nothing at all is missing.

Apnay daas ko bha-i-o sahaa-ee — the One became the helper of the one who serves. Every hope was met. Then kartai purakh taal divaa-i-aa: the Creator had a pool of sweet water made.

Then comes a line worth noticing: pichhai lag chalee maa-i-aa. Maya, the good things of the world, follows behind instead of being chased. It's like a puppy. Chase it and it runs away. Sit still and it climbs into your lap. When the heart is rooted in the One, enough tends to come without grabbing.

A Question to Sit With

What is the difference between chasing something and letting it come to you?
